Man robs Freiburg café with knife
A previously unknown man entered a café in central Freiburg at about 8:30 a.m. on 23 May and demanded the contents of the till while displaying a knife. According to police, he took an unspecified amount of cash and fled on foot. During an immediate search involving a police helicopter, the man was identified and provisionally detained. Criminal police are investigating and seeking further witnesses.
