Man extorts woman with knife at Freiburg concert hall
At about 5:40 a.m. on 15 May, a man threatened a 35-year-old woman with a knife at the concert hall in Freiburg and demanded cash. The woman had withdrawn money from an ATM on Bertoldstraße shortly beforehand. The offender took 180 euros and fled into the concert hall garage. Following a search, patrols from Freiburg police and the federal police arrested a 34-year-old suspect. Criminal investigators are examining suspected aggravated robbery-related extortion.
