Man threatens police patrol with knife in Frankfurt
A 28-year-old man allegedly threatened a police patrol in Frankfurt during the night of 24 June with a knife and a realistic-looking airsoft gun. Police said he had first fired a New Year's Eve rocket at the patrol car, missing the vehicle. When officers approached him, he raised the weapons threateningly and threw the airsoft gun toward them, without hitting anyone. He resisted during the subsequent arrest, and one officer sustained a minor facial injury. The man was arrested and taken to a specialist clinic.
