Man arrested after attempted knife robbery in Frankfurt
A 27-year-old man is alleged to have tried to rob a 57-year-old man of cash in an apartment in Frankfurt-Unterliederbach on 11 May. Police said he demanded money at around 17:35 and tried to get hold of the man's wallet while displaying a knife. A physical confrontation followed, during which two women allegedly intervened. The suspect is also alleged to have attacked them before fleeing without any proceeds. Plainclothes officers arrested him shortly afterwards; he was taken into police custody and is due to be brought before a judge.
