Frankfurt: Man injured with pocketknife during dispute
A 42-year-old man was injured in the face with a pocketknife during a dispute in Frankfurt’s old town on the evening of 25 April. Police said the people involved had met by chance at Fahrtor and initially became involved in a verbal argument. The 27-year-old suspect is alleged to have inflicted a cut to the other man’s left cheek before fleeing. Paramedics treated the injured man at the scene. Officers located the alleged offender nearby shortly afterwards, detained him and took him into police custody; he is to be brought before a judge.
