Robber arrested after knife threat in Frankfurt
Police arrested a 35-year-old suspected robber in Frankfurt's Bahnhofsviertel on Monday afternoon. According to the current investigation, he followed a 26-year-old man into a building entrance near Moselstraße and demanded his phone. When the 26-year-old refused to hand it over, the suspect allegedly struck him with a crowbar, took the phone from his jacket pocket and threatened him with a knife. The victim fled the entrance and the door shut behind him, allowing officers to arrest the 35-year-old without resistance. He was released after police measures were completed.
