Teenager draws kitchen knife after dispute at Frankfurt U-Bahn stop
A robbery-related theft occurred at the Miquel-, Adickesallee/Polizeipräsidium U-Bahn stop in Frankfurt am Main on 11 February. A teenager allegedly asked one of two victims to exchange money and received 20 euros. When he tried to board an arriving train without providing the promised change, the second victim demanded the money back. During the ensuing dispute, the teenager drew a large kitchen knife and left the platform via the stairs. Passengers fled the platform and alerted police. Officers arrested the suspect at a nearby kiosk after a brief attempt to flee.
