Taxi driver robbed at knifepoint in Frankfurt
A taxi driver was allegedly threatened with a knife and robbed of a low three-figure amount of cash in Frankfurt during the night of 4 August. The man had earlier entered the taxi near the Alte Oper with two other people, who got out during the journey.
According to police, the later suspect said he wanted to get out at Mainfeldstraße and could not pay, before holding a knife to the driver. Criminal investigators are seeking the two former passengers as witnesses.
