Man threatens teenagers with knife in Frankenthal
Following a dispute with a group of teenagers, a 34-year-old man is alleged to have drawn a knife and a blank-firing gun and threatened the teenagers on Rathausplatz in Frankenthal on 7 January. He is also alleged to have struck and insulted one teenager beforehand. Police officers ordered him at gunpoint to put down the knife. They then restrained and searched him before taking him to a police station. Several criminal proceedings were initiated against him.
