Teenager seriously injured in knife attack in Flensburg

A teenager was seriously injured in the arm in a knife attack during several physical altercations among young people in Flensburg city centre on Monday afternoon. An earlier confrontation in the Holmpassage car park involved around 30 people, with some participants reportedly carrying knives. The injured teenager underwent emergency surgery in hospital and has since been released; there was no danger to life. Numerous participants fled before police arrived. At least one further altercation later took place near Flensburg's central bus station, where brass knuckles were also reportedly used. Five people were temporarily taken to a police station while investigators continue to clarify individual involvement.
