Emergency medical worker attacked with knife in Euskirchen
A 67-year-old man allegedly attacked an emergency medical worker with a knife during an emergency service call on Münstereifeler Straße in Euskirchen. The man had previously been lying on the ground. When the worker touched him on the shoulder at about 18:40, he allegedly pulled a knife from his pocket and stabbed toward the worker. A colleague kicked the knife from his hand, and the man was then restrained until police arrived. Nobody was injured. Following police measures, he was taken to hospital for further treatment because of a health emergency. Police filed a report for attempted dangerous bodily harm.
