Man threatens restaurant guest in Euskirchen with butter knife
A 46-year-old man entered a restaurant on Hochstraße in Euskirchen at about 18:55 on Thursday evening and sat down uninvited at a table with other guests. He picked up a butter knife and lightly struck a table leg with it, alarming those present. After the restaurant owner told him to leave, an 18-year-old guest left the premises as a precaution. The man followed him outside while holding the knife and confronted him in a threatening manner. When police arrived, he dropped the knife and was taken into custody. Reports were filed against him, including for attempted dangerous bodily harm and making threats.
