Man allegedly injured with knife in Esslingen
A 40-year-old man was allegedly injured with a knife during an altercation in Esslingen on Monday afternoon. Police said an unknown man attacked him without warning at about 3:30 p.m. near the access road to a car park on Kollwitzstraße, causing multiple injuries. Passers-by noticed the confrontation, and the attacker fled towards Fleischmannstraße. The injured man was taken by ambulance to a clinic and admitted as an inpatient. An initial search did not locate the suspect; police are investigating and seeking witnesses.
