Man threatened with knife at Essen Central Station
An altercation involving five people took place at Essen Central Station on 31 August. Three men are alleged to have racially insulted and threatened a 21-year-old Spanish man and a 20-year-old German man. The 21-year-old stated that one of the men struck him in the face with a folded knife and then threatened him with it. Federal police located the three suspects after a search at the station's western exit. A one-handed knife was seized from a 28-year-old, and police opened investigations.
