Two pedestrians robbed with stabbing weapon in Essen
An unknown man is alleged to have threatened two pedestrians with a stabbing weapon and demanded cash on a cycle path near Krupp Park in Essen late on 24 May. A 28-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were sitting on a bench at about 23:25 when the suspect approached them. After they handed over money, he fled on foot towards Frohnhausen. A search was unsuccessful, and criminal police are investigating and seeking witnesses.
