Teenager injured in knife attack at Erlangen bus station

Following an earlier dispute, two teenagers met at Erlangen bus station at around 5 p.m. on 28 September. One teenager is suspected of pulling a knife and threatening the other. When the other teenager resisted, a struggle reportedly followed in which the suspect allegedly inflicted several stab wounds to his opponent's upper body. The injured teenager was treated in hospital, and witnesses stopped the attack. The suspect initially fled but was provisionally arrested later that evening.

During the police response, the injured teenager's father allegedly defied instructions and lightly injured two officers. Police are investigating him on suspicion of resisting enforcement officers.
