Knife drawn during escape from discount store in Erkner
On the afternoon of 21 April 2026, two men entered a discount store on Neu Zittauer Straße in Erkner and are alleged to have filled a backpack with coffee and food. When employees confronted them near the checkout area, one of the men drew a knife and demanded that the door be opened. Both then escaped; according to initial findings, they got into a grey car where a third person was waiting. Criminal police are investigating those involved.
