Man arrested after knife attack in Ense
A 30-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries in a knife attack at a municipal accommodation facility in Ense-Bremen. Police and prosecutors said he became involved in a dispute with a 29-year-old man at about 18:50 on 16 June. The 29-year-old is alleged to have pulled a knife from his trousers and stabbed the other man several times.
The injured man was taken to hospital. Police arrested the suspect at the scene. The Arnsberg public prosecutor's office considers the case an attempted homicide, and a Dortmund police homicide unit is investigating. The arrested man was due to be brought before a judge.
