18-year-old threatens staff with multitool in Egelsbach
In Egelsbach, an 18-year-old allegedly threatened three employees of an electronics store with the opened blade of a multitool after the suspected theft of a games console. The employees had followed him and recovered the console. When they retreated into a nearby discount store, the suspect allegedly followed them, demanded the console back and stabbed at its packaging. According to police, he narrowly missed one employee. Following a physical confrontation, several people held the 18-year-old until police arrived; he is being investigated, among other matters, on suspicion of robbery-related theft.
