Store employee threatened with knife after attempted theft in Ebsdorfergrund
A man allegedly tried to push a shopping trolley containing coffee and olive oil out of a discount store in Ebsdorfergrund-Hachborn at about 18:30 on 19 August. After the attempt failed, he left the store and an employee pursued him. Police said he threatened her with a knife before getting into a van occupied by other people. Officers later checked a vehicle carrying four people, seized further suspected stolen goods and cash, and released the suspects after police measures. The investigation is ongoing.
