28-year-old critically injured in Duisburg
An unidentified assailant critically injured a 28-year-old man on Thursday evening in the entrance area of a building on Vulkanstraße in Duisburg. The man suffered stab wounds, received initial treatment from an emergency doctor and was then taken to hospital; police said his life remained in danger. The offender fled in a black car. Prosecutors are treating the case as an attempted homicide, and a homicide investigation team is examining the attack, its background and the fugitive suspect.
