Man dies after stab injuries in Düsseldorf
A 38-year-old man died on Sunday evening after sustaining severe stab injuries in an apartment in a multi-family building in Düsseldorf-Friedrichstadt. Firefighters had been alerted to a person seriously injured by stabs on Adersstraße, but resuscitation efforts were unsuccessful. Initial findings indicate that a violent confrontation involving several people may have preceded the incident. Police provisionally detained two suspected participants, including one in Duisburg. Investigators are continuing to examine the background and the precise sequence of events.
