Eight teenagers identified after machete robbery attack in Düsseldorf
Two teenagers were injured during a serious robbery at a playground in Düsseldorf-Vennhausen. Investigators said the pair had allegedly been lured there under a pretext before several masked individuals punched and kicked them. A machete was allegedly used, and police said a firearm was also fired into the ground. One teenager escaped while injured, while the other was further assaulted and received inpatient treatment. The group fled with property belonging to the victim. The investigation concerns eight teenagers, and police seized evidence during searches of six premises.
