Armed kiosk robbery in Düsseldorf – two women threatened
Two masked men allegedly robbed a kiosk in Düsseldorf-Friedrichstadt on 9 January. Police said they threatened the two female operators who were present with a machete and demanded the cash register. They fled towards Corneliusstraße with a cash box containing several hundred euros. One of the women suffered a minor injury from the blade of the weapon. The initial search was unsuccessful, and police are seeking witnesses.
