Man critically injured with knife in Düsseldorf
A 49-year-old man is alleged to have repeatedly attacked a 46-year-old man from behind with a knife in Düsseldorf on 30 October, leaving him critically injured. The attack occurred at about 3:20 a.m. on the pavement of Mecumstraße while the victim was walking with his partner. Police said the woman's former partner approached the couple from behind. The injured man was taken to hospital for intensive medical treatment. Düsseldorf prosecutors and a homicide investigation unit took over the investigation.
