Man injured with knife in Düren
A 27-year-old pedestrian was attacked and injured with a knife on Eisenbahnstraße in Düren during the night of 12 June. According to the victim, the assailant emerged from between parked vehicles at about 12:05 a.m., pushed him against a bus, struck him in the face and held a knife to his neck. When the man called for help, the attacker stopped and fled towards the railway station. The 27-year-old sustained minor injuries but did not require medical treatment at the scene. Police are seeking witnesses and are investigating the background to the attack.
