Knife threat during attempted kiosk robbery in Düren
A 37-year-old employee suffered minor injuries during an attempted robbery at a kiosk in Düren. At about 7:30 a.m. on 20 February, a man threatened him with a knife at the checkout area. The employee and a 29-year-old customer forced the offender out of the shop, during which the employee was injured. The man initially fled. Police arrested a 28-year-old man from Jülich in Düren later that afternoon after suspicion fell on him.
