Man attacks police officers with glass shard in Dresden
A 29-year-old man allegedly attacked two police officers with a glass shard in Dresden-Pappritz on 2 March. Police said he had previously pulled out bushes, damaged a fountain and set fire to a fence. When officers located him after being alerted, he allegedly went at them with the shard. The officers used pepper spray, subdued the man and he was then placed in specialist medical care. He is being investigated for assaulting law-enforcement officers.
