Minor allegedly extorted money with knife threat in Dresden
A defendant who was a minor at the time allegedly demanded that a teenager hand over 85 euros on Prohliser Allee in Dresden at about 17:30 on 8 January. Prosecutors said he struck the victim on the cheek, threatened him with a knife and, together with another defendant, held him to prevent him from fleeing. He then allegedly took the teenager's wallet containing 20 euros. The defendant was arrested in January and remains in pre-trial detention. Prosecutors have filed charges including on suspicion of aggravated robbery; the local court will decide whether to open the main proceedings.
