Man threatened and lightly injured with knife in Dortmund
On 21 July, a 20-year-old allegedly threatened a 19-year-old with a knife near Schwanenwall and Stiftstraße in Dortmund, struck him several times in the face and slightly injured his neck with the knife. Municipal public-order staff noticed the altercation outside the Citywache at about 7:50 p.m. The suspect and another man initially fled. Police and public-order staff later stopped the 20-year-old and recovered the knife and sheath he had discarded. Police took him into custody to prevent further offences.
