Machete attack on car occupants in Dortmund
Seven to eight men attacked the two occupants of a car stopped at a red light in Dortmund on 16 November. At the junction of Schützenstraße and Bülowstraße, the group smashed the vehicle's windows with a baseball bat and a baton. The 48-year-old passenger suffered a minor arm injury. The 34-year-old driver was punched in the face and also sustained a superficial cut to his forearm from a machete. The group then fled westwards in a beige VW Touran, and an immediate search was unsuccessful.
