19-year-old injures opponent with knife in Dortmund
During an argument between a 19-year-old and a 21-year-old on Am Richterbusch street in Dortmund-Hörde, the younger man injured his opponent with a knife. The 21-year-old, who was carrying a machete, was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The 19-year-old was provisionally detained and was due to be brought before a remand judge. Proceedings were initiated against him for dangerous bodily harm and for breaching an existing knife-carrying ban; proceedings for a weapons-law violation were initiated against the 21-year-old.
