Railway employee allegedly threatened with knife in Dortmund

A 41-year-old man is alleged to have threatened a railway employee with a knife at Dortmund’s main railway station on 24 April. According to the report, an argument followed after security staff asked him to leave the station because of a ban from the premises. The 48-year-old employee said the man first clenched his fists in a threatening manner and then took a knife from his jacket pocket.

According to the Federal Police, video footage confirmed the argument, the threatening behaviour and the removal of an object from the jacket pocket. The man left the station and was not initially found during a search. Proceedings for trespass and making threats were opened.
