Pre-trial detention after knife attack in Dortmund
A 31-year-old man was allegedly stabbed and suffered life-threatening injuries in an attempted homicide on Mallinckrodtstraße near Nordmarkt in Dortmund on 10 February. Investigators said that he is no longer in danger of dying. Police provisionally detained a 21-year-old suspect on 20 February, and an arrest warrant issued by Dortmund Local Court was executed. The suspect is in pre-trial detention. The homicide unit is investigating suspected dangerous bodily harm and attempted homicide.
