Man displays knife during attempted robbery in Dortmund
A 19-year-old man was the victim of an attempted robbery on Westerbleichstraße in Dortmund at about 18:50 on 3 January. A suspect kicked his leg, hit him and tried to take his wallet. The man also displayed a knife. The 19-year-old escaped, while the suspect threw a beer bottle after him but obtained no property. The victim was not injured. A minor from Dortmund is suspected of involvement in the attack and, according to police, is in pre-trial detention.
