Man threatens cyclist with knife in Döbeln
A man is alleged to have threatened a passing cyclist with a knife near the pedestrian bridge on Sörmitzer Straße in Döbeln on 26 February. An uninvolved witness alerted police. The woman continued riding and appeared unharmed, according to police.
Officers located the suspect shortly afterwards near Sankt-Georgen-Straße. They found and seized a knife from his jacket pocket. Following police measures, the 44-year-old man was taken to a specialist clinic because of his mental condition.
