Man attacks two people with a hand saw in Dessau-Roßlau
A 37-year-old man allegedly attacked and threatened a 20-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man with a hand saw on a green area outside Dessau main railway station at about 6:45 p.m. on 29 August. The man was lightly struck on the thigh but, according to the Federal Police, was not injured; further attempted attacks were repelled. The two people fled to the station and sought help from a Federal Police patrol. Officers located the suspect, who dropped the saw after pepper spray was threatened. The saw was seized, and he is under investigation for dangerous bodily harm and making threats.
