Employee seriously injured in stabbing outside Darmstadt venue
An altercation between several people and employees of a venue occurred outside the establishment on Mauerstraße in Darmstadt at about 4 a.m. on 22 March. According to initial findings, the dispute began after the group had been denied entry. A 19-year-old is alleged to have inflicted a stab wound to the upper body of a 25-year-old employee with a knife. The man was seriously injured and admitted to hospital for inpatient treatment. A 36-year-old employee sustained minor head injuries after being struck. The 19-year-old was provisionally detained following a search and released after police measures were completed; police are still searching for another attacker.
