Men flee Darmstadt department store with knife after alleged robbery
An alleged robbery took place at a department store on Elisabethenstraße in Darmstadt on Tuesday evening. Two unidentified men entered the store shortly after 6 p.m. One of them is alleged to have removed goods from their packaging; after an employee approached him, he initially handed the goods back. The two men then fled the store while displaying a knife. An immediate police search was unsuccessful, and criminal investigators are handling the case.
