A 24-year-old man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after an alleged knife attack on Adelungstraße in Darmstadt. Police said his condition was stable. According to investigators, members of two families became involved in a street dispute at around 16:00 on Monday afternoon, during which a 23-year-old man allegedly attacked him with a knife. Police provisionally arrested the suspect and are still investigating the background. Shortly after the attack, a 33-year-old ride-hailing driver who allegedly brought the suspect to the scene drove away and collided with two children.
