Two men suffer stab and cut injuries in Chemnitz altercation
Two men were injured in an altercation at Schillerplatz in Chemnitz on Tuesday, 3 November 2026. According to initial findings, several people became involved in a dispute there at around 4 p.m. A 21-year-old man sustained a stab injury and a 19-year-old man a cut injury; both were taken to hospital. The instrument that caused the injuries was not identified. Police cordoned off a wide area and took four other men to the station. Officers were still checking whether those men had taken part in the altercation or witnessed it.
