44-year-old man injures man with knife in Chemnitz
A 44-year-old man is suspected of using a knife to inflict cuts to a 61-year-old man's ear at an apartment in Chemnitz on 16 January. A 41-year-old woman was also at the apartment, where a verbal dispute had initially developed among the three people. The 61-year-old then got to safety and received medical treatment at a hospital. After police learned of the incident, they provisionally detained the 44-year-old. He is under investigation for serious bodily harm and was due to be brought before an investigating judge.
