33-year-old man injured with knife in Chemnitz
A 33-year-old man sustained cuts to his hand at a snack bar on Frankenberger Straße in Chemnitz-Ebersdorf on Monday evening. He told police that a man who was initially unknown to him spoke to him, entered the snack bar after a brief conversation and took a knife. The man allegedly used it to injure the 33-year-old. The suspect then fled into a nearby vacant station building. Officers surrounded the building and apprehended a 31-year-old man, who was taken to a specialist clinic after initial police measures. He is being investigated on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm.
