Man allegedly threatened two people with knife at Chemnitz snack bar
Following a dispute over an unpaid bill, a 25-year-old man allegedly threatened two men with a knife at a fast-food restaurant on Brückenstraße in Chemnitz during the night of 16 May. The customer had reportedly argued with an employee after refusing to pay and allegedly damaging a chair. When he returned shortly afterwards, he allegedly threatened the employee and a taxi driver who tried to assist him. The man also allegedly struck the taxi driver, causing minor injuries. Police located a suspect shortly afterwards near Bahnhofstraße/Augustusburger Straße but did not find the alleged weapon. Investigations for fraud, threats and bodily harm are under way.
