Man threatens two people with kitchen knife in Celle
A 49-year-old man allegedly threatened his 53-year-old former partner and her 31-year-old acquaintance with a kitchen knife in Celle on 1 April. The two were near a kart track on Waldweg at about 7:20 p.m. when the man arrived. After witnesses noticed the incident, he threw away the knife and drove off in the woman's car. Police found him shortly afterwards at his home address and temporarily took him into custody. Nobody was injured, and the knife was seized. Investigators are pursuing, among other matters, allegations of threats and driving without a licence.
