Attempted robbery at Celle shooting range grounds
Late on 18 October, a man allegedly attempted to rob a 26-year-old man at Celle shooting range grounds. The victim was walking to his car along a foot and cycle path between a playground and an outdoor fitness park when the suspect blocked his way. The suspect allegedly demanded cash and a mobile phone and reinforced the demand with a long object believed to have been a knife. The 26-year-old kept the suspect at a distance using his umbrella and escaped. Police are seeking witnesses.
