Woman draws kitchen knife during dispute in Celle
A physical confrontation involving three people took place in Celle's Triftanlagen on 21 June. A 55-year-old woman was allegedly harassed by an intoxicated 30-year-old acquaintance and then drew a kitchen knife from her picnic cutlery to create distance. Another 49-year-old acquaintance saw this and struck the 30-year-old on the head with a bottle. The man suffered a bleeding head laceration. Police said there was no link to a cultural association gathering taking place at the same time and opened investigations for threatening and dangerous bodily harm.
