Man seriously injured by stab wound in Castrop-Rauxel
Following an argument between two men in Castrop-Rauxel, a 43-year-old man sustained a stab wound and was seriously injured. A witness reported an altercation outside a residential address in the Im Osterkotten area at about 16:40 on 25 June. Police officers provided first aid and the injured man was taken to hospital; a danger to his life that could initially not be ruled out was not confirmed there. Police provisionally detained a 47-year-old man shortly afterwards who is alleged to have injured him. A firearm and a knife were seized at the scene, and the homicide unit continues to investigate.
