Man with knife threatens two people in Burscheid
A man allegedly threatened two people outside a tanning salon on Mittelstraße in Burscheid on the evening of 1 May while holding a knife. Witnesses said he also punched one person in the face several times before initially leaving the scene.
Police later spotted the man near the incident location but lost him after he fled again. He retreated to a flat in an apartment building on Mittelstraße. Specialist units arrested the 48-year-old there after resistance, and officers seized the knife during a subsequent search. He is under investigation, including for bodily harm and making threats.
