Man threatens police officers with knife in Burg
A 33-year-old man allegedly first physically attacked two 66-year-olds in Burg. When police officers approached him shortly afterwards on Marienweg, he allegedly attacked them with pepper spray and threatened them with a knife. An officer then used a firearm. The suspect was seriously injured and taken to hospital in critical condition, while four police officers sustained minor injuries. He was provisionally detained and the investigation is ongoing.
